The short version: we use only the storage needed to run the site and keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
What we use
- Essential (authentication): if you log in, Firebase Authentication stores a secure token in your browser so you stay signed in. Without it, accounts can't work.
- Functional (local storage): small preferences and, if you're offline, a temporary queue for form submissions so nothing is lost. This stays on your device.
- Fonts: we load fonts from Google Fonts, which may set standard delivery cookies from your browser's request.
What we don't use
No advertising cookies. No Meta, TikTok, or other social-media tracking pixels. No cross-site behavioral tracking. For a mental-health site, that's a deliberate choice.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, login-based features won't work, but the rest of the site will.
