What is Neuro Health Alliance?
Neuro Health Alliance (NHA) is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to break the stigma around mental and neurological health. We do that through youth advocacy, school chapters, and a gallery for art and writing. We also run open student research and build free tools.
Is NHA a crisis line or a therapy service?
No. NHA is not a crisis, emergency, or treatment service, and our content is for education, not medical advice. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), text HOME to 741741, or call 911. Our resource library lists more support.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. Neuro Health Alliance is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Every gift goes directly toward youth mental-health advocacy, education, creative expression, and open research. Our EIN is available on request. Donate here.
How do I start or join a chapter?
A chapter is a student-led club at your school or campus. Starting one takes about ten minutes: fill out the interest form and we send a starter kit, a charter, and someone to help you run your first event. See Chapters to begin.
Can I volunteer, and do the hours count for anything?
Yes. Volunteer with NHA and we keep a verified record of your service hours, which you can use for college applications, scholarships, and school service requirements. NHA also recognizes your service at Bronze, Silver, and Gold milestones. Start on the Volunteer page.
Who can submit writing or artwork?
