Sahana Gade

As a dedicated high school junior at Stephen F. Austin High School with a passion for mental health advocacy, Sahana Gade is actively involved in the Neuro Health Alliance, a non-profit organization committed to promoting mental health awareness and support. Sahana’s journey into mental health advocacy began with a keen interest in mental health disorders, educational policies, and the broader implications of mental wellness on society.

Over the past few years, Sahana has participated in various initiatives and projects aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues and supporting those affected by them. This work includes organizing mental health workshops, participating in community outreach programs, and advocating for policies that support mental wellness in educational settings.

Through involvement with the Neuro Health Alliance, Sahana strives to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for individuals with mental health challenges. Sahana believes that by increasing awareness and understanding, the stigma surrounding mental health can be broken down, fostering a community where everyone feels valued and supported. She hopes to be able to bring opportunities to other high school students through the work of NHA.

Sahana is committed to continuing advocacy work and looks forward to collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations to make a positive impact on mental health awareness and support.
